时装大牌 Dior 把中国唐朝绒花译为 ronghua

　　2023年6月23日，时装品牌 Dior（迪奥）在自己的推特中说：Decorating hats on the #DiorSummer24 by Kim Jones runway, learn about the making of ronghua velvet flowers, a specialist savoir-faire dating back to Tang dynasty China. Check out more content on our YouTube channel.

　　中国的绒花可以追溯到唐朝，如果意译它的名称就没有特色了，全世界任何人都能够制作 velvet flowers（天鹅绒的花）。更重要的是，中国人就失去了绒花的知识产权。中国人给自己的孩子取名时，都会努力创造一个独特的名字，还要冠以父亲的姓氏，这就是在宣布：这是我的孩子。不会有父母给孩子取名为“人”或“人类”。因为它们没有特指功能。

　　在 ronghua 后面的 velvet flowers 实际上是一个短注释，只要出现一次，读者就知道什么是 ronghua 了。

　　很多时尚和新闻网站报道了迪奥的这次创作活动，里面都跟着迪奥使用了 ronghua 一词，可见外国人完全能够看懂它。

Jones created beanie hats for the collection with the haute couture knitter Cecile Feilchenfeldt inspired by the liberty caps of the New Wave look. They featured "ronghua" adornments created in the tradition of ancient Chinese velvet floral embellishments crafted by master artisans in pastels that cemented the romantic tone of the collection.

Stephen Jones, famed for his millinery, contributed with reinterpretations of new wave beanies that bore "ronghua," exquisite velvet flowers of Chinese origin dating back to the Tang dynasty.

Renowned British milliner Stephen Jones contributed to the collection with a series of beanies inspired by the Phrygian liberty cap. In a delightful twist, the liberty cap's cockade was replaced with traditional Chinese velvet flower head accessories called Ronghua, infusing the designs with cultural symbolism.

The caps are decorated with exquisite 'Ronghua' velvet flowers produced in China by master artisans who worked closely with the Dior Ateliers.

　　笔者最近还看到了法国人李格（Greg）的视频，他在中国生活，娶了中国女子为妻，他自称“舒服生活博主”，到处品尝中国食物，对其中的佼佼者颁发“舒服奖章”。他回国探亲时，给亲人买的一种礼物是“舒服汗衫”，胸前印着汉字“舒服”及其拼音字母。他说自己的“大指标”（大目标？）是让 shufu 进入法国的辞典。

　　法语中有两个词表示“舒服（的）”：agréable 和 confortable。不知道为什么李格对中国的“舒服”情有独钟，非要把它加入法语中去？莫非他觉得现有法语单词无法表达 shufu 所包含的意味？目前还没有找到李格对此事的解释。

　　但是此事说明：外国人并不认为一个来自汉语的音译词进入本国语言是不可思议、大逆不道的事情。法语中已经有近义词的 shufu 尚且如此，法语中根本没有的 loong（龙）进入法语和其它外语，显然更是理所当然的事情。
